HKU-Pasteur’s Carolyn Cohen was awarded the RGC Junior Research Fellowship for her project, "Immune based risk assessment of swine influenza viruses in humans".

About the fellowship
The RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme aims at providing promising local and non-local postdoctoral researchers at UGC-funded universities with support at a pivotal time in their very early career.
The JRFS provides support to 60 awardees, in each round of the yearly exercise, for a period of 24 months to conduct postdoctoral research at a UGC-funded university, with an optional extension of the postdoctoral stage for up to 12 months upon request.
