HKU-Pasteur’s Co-Directors, Professor Leo Poon and newly appointed Dr. Eric Deharo, recently hosted a strategic meeting with representatives from the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau. This exchange reaffirmed the strong collaboration between the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole and France in advancing scientific research, education, and cultural dialogue.
It was a great opportunity to meet with Johanna Bouyé, the new Consul for Education, Science and Culture, and Camélia Aissat, Deputy Consul for Culture, Education, and Science and Scientific and University Attachée, to reaffirm the pivotal role of HKU-Pasteur in strengthening academic partnerships, research collaborations, and exchanges between France and Hong Kong.
This privileged relationship was further demonstrated by the warm welcome extended to Dr. Eric Deharo from Mrs. Christile Drulhe, Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau.
This gathering underscores HKU-Pasteur’s mission to foster international cooperation and drive innovation in infectious disease research and global health.
