We are seeking a motivated Research Postgraduate (RPG) Student to join our research team and support studies related to viral infections and T cell immunology. The successful candidate will focus on studying the enumeration and functionality of T cells specific to respiratory viruses, particularly influenza viruses and SARS-CoV-2. This research aims to elucidate the relationship between T cell immunology with viral infection outcomes and vaccination responses, while investigating the impact of prior immune memory and T cell cross-reactivity to virus variants. The project will involve techniques including whole blood staining, peripheral blood mononuclear cell isolation and culture, flow cytometry, and other advanced immunological methods.
