Laureate of the first HKU-Pasteur Research Pole Fellowship and PhD candidate under Dr Hein Min Tun, Ye Peng was awarded by the Beijing Rexinchang Biotechnology Research Institute.
He received the 2nd prize in the field of Basic Research for this 2022 edition and gave a talk on "Developmental trajectories of gut microbiota in the first year of life and risks for atopic sensitization in childhood" during the awardee forum.
This scholarship awarded by the Beijing Rexinchang Biotechnology Research Institute ("Mr Gut") rewards and encourages outstanding Chinese students from all over the world to cultivate new talents.
