After a successful first round of internships in 2013 we are now soliciting applications for the l’Oréal Research Scholarship to perform research internship at Institut Pasteur in 2014.
For the second consecutive year, the Scholarship will offer 4 grants to postgraduate students or postdoctoral fellows from Hong Kong and Macau (permanent residents) to undertake research internship (up to 3 months) at Insitut Pasteur.
Over 35 leading scientists from Institut pasteur studying Cancer, Cell Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Parasitology and Virology have joined this programme.
The scholarship includes:
Round trip air ticket between Hong Kong/Macau and France
Housing and living allowance
The eligibility conditions are:
To be enrolled in a postgraduate programme or a postdoctoral fellow employed by one on the universities of Hong Kong or Macau
To be a Hong Kong or Macau permanent resident

Any principal investigator at Institut Pasteur is eligible but if it is not listed on the website, prospective students and postdoctoral fellows are advised to contact us first at hku-pasteur@hku.hk. About L’Oréal Research Scholarship
Sponsored by L’Oréal Hong Kong and partnered with the HKU–Pasteur Research Centre and the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, the Scholarship aims at providing outstanding postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows and Hong Kong or Macau permanent residents with the opportunity of exposure to the research environment in France through participating in research work in laboratories of the Institut Pasteur, thereby better preparing them for future long-term professional development and career in scientific research.
