“Innate Immunity”: a 6-week online course by the Institut Pasteur, featuring Suki Lee from HKU-PRP

This MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is organized in 6 weeks. Each sequence is composed of 4 to 7 sequences. In each sequence, you find a 10 minute video and a multiple choice test to help students check their understanding. The videos are in English subtitled in French and in English.

The MOOC targets people with a medical or scientific training background who are interested in all aspects of innate immunity: medical students, Mphil, Msc and PhD students (Immunology, Bacteriology, Parasitology, Virology…), post-doc, physicians, pharmacists, veterinarians, and all scientists working on bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, interested to learn more about the defense mechanism of the host against their favored bug.

The course is directed by Jean-Marc Cavaillon (Head of the unit "Cytokines & inflammation" at the Institut Pasteur) and Daniel Scott-Algara (Group leader in the Cytokines & inflammation unit). Both of them have been co-directors of our HKU-Pasteur Immunology Courses (2010, 2012, 2013, 2015).

Suki Lee, principal investigator at HKU-Pasteur Research Pole is part of the teaching team. Her team focuses on virus-host interaction and host response to viral infection.
