Last Friday, the 14th HKU-Pasteur Virology Course finished in great style!
Participants and speakers spent 9 hectic days to explore how influenza viruses cause disease and what are the determinants of influenza virus transmission. As a practical workshop, the 24 participants formed groups to collaboratively prepare and present a multidisciplinary grant proposal to address the main challenges that influenza research is currently facing.
We celebrated the end of the course in Ocean Park, thanks to Mr Leo Kung, chairman of the park, friend and benefactor of HKU-PRP. Thanks to all participants for making this course a success! As usual, active and productive participation has been the key!
