The group of Eric Kremer at the Institut de Génétique de Montpellier is looking for a self-motivated scientist who has recently finished his/her Ph.D. Ideally the candidate will have the capacity and experience to participate in a broad range of studies involving the innate, adaptive and memory immune response to adenoviruses. Experience in cell & molecular biology is needed, working knowledge of dendritic cell biology would be a bonus. The abilities to work in a multinational team environment and to communicate in English are essential.
The position is available immediately (2011). Starting salary is based on CNRS/university guidelines (~3,600 €/month before taxes).
The Institut de Génétique Moléculaire de Montpellier (IGMM (http://www.igmm.cnrs.fr) is a multidisciplinary institute made up of 18 research groups and affiliated with the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and to the Universities of Montpellier (I & II). The campus is home to four research institutes that work on cellular biology, molecular genetics, pharmacology, RNA and infectious processes.
