Professor Hein Tun, from HKU-Pasteur, together with PhD student Ye Peng share their thoughts and analysis on an article written by Quinten R Ducarmon and colleagues published in The Lancet Microbe reporting the absence of association of asymptomatic carriage of extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Escherichia coli with microbiome composition and functions.
