Bioinformatician Position at Institut Pasteur in Cambodia

A position for Post-Doc fellowship or Engineer in Bioinformatics or Bioinformatician (Master degree) for minimum 1 year is open in the virology division at Institut Pasteur in Cambodia. This position is to fill from August 2012.

Profile: PhD or Engineer or experienced scientist/technician with Master degree

Job description: to manage the Roche 454 bioinformatic plateform (analysis of the raw data generated, BLAST, genome reconstruction in collaboration with Virologists) in a project on pathogen discovery

Experience requested:

• Excellent background in informatics (being able to write scripts) - Knowledge in bioinformatics

• Previous experience with 454 or other HTS system

• Skills on Sequencing platform appreciated

• Good behaviour in human relationships and in collaborations - Good knowledge in English or French language
